Second last day of this month (May), Google head of department of search spam, The Matt Cutts places a video on Google stance on utilizing advertorials in a way to control Googlesearch results.

Everyone have mind and as you can think, if you want to use advertorials link in your website or blog and those advertorials have backlinks to your website or blog – you should change into nofollow tag rather than dofollow or Google can take legal action against your website or blog.

Second month of year (February), a massive flowered company was published over advertorials links. Today, I am totally shock that another giant fish to be penalized by Google. Sprint is the brand which penalized by Google, it is largest U.S. wireless provider.

I reviewed the Google Webmaster Help thread and I knew that over there Sprintrepresentative asking questions about their site penalty. I think nobody know the Sprintcompany representative, has Kent Van Deusen the sprint website support has Kent Van Deusen and he asking where is this "user-generated spam" on Sprint.com? I think most companies are happy to hear that news because competitors are start getting business from their site, before you get all mad that Sprint.com is penalized and banned from Google, halt. They are not.



This is also happened is past with Mozilla's penalty and the BBC penalty. All three of these websites had/have very gritty penalties. If all of you know that in the Mozilla and BBC case, there is only particular one page was penalized and out of all their millions and billions of pages.

With Sprints site probably the community interaction forum that was hit and likely only one particular forum threads.

Yet today Google has not replied to sprint representative about this Google penalty and I am 100% sure if they will. Obviously this continues to display how shivery and misdirected few of these Google Webmaster Tools notifications can be.

Now What step should Sprint do for their site? Likely they nofollow any links that were produced by non-official reps. Or Hire a Rameez Ramzan to dig into the detail here.

Your Rankings Drop Around May 15th? May Be Due To Link Networks Google Broken

Last Wednesday, Matt Cuts has announced on Twitter that Google taken “action on various thousand link sellers in a paid link that push PageRank network."

Google did this similar activity before also. We don’t know which link network affected due to latest action. Various readers were asking me if SAPE links was hit again, but others are asking about a network named ghost. Frankly, I am not sure about this. It looks like it may be carious smaller networks.

I am confirmed about that last Wednesday (May 15th), numerous webmasters began tocomplain about position declines in WebmasterWorld. Here are some quotes:

Google's Cutts: Buying Links Doesn't Hurt???

A very recent video from Google's lead of search spam , Matt Cutts named If a website connecting to mine gets detected selling links , what goes on to my site ? That video essentially clarifies what happens if a site that sells links and Google knows it , what happens to a site that has links from the link selling site ?

In a nutshell , little .

Matt Cutts produced three points in this video :

1. The link seller's web site should observe a toolbar PageRank downgrade 30% - 50% .
2. The link seller's web site loses the power to send PageRank going forward .
3. The links directing to your web site from the link seller's web site shall no lontger be counted and no longer help your web site.

But what about link purchasing penalties ? Well , undoubtedly Matt didn't talk about it in his 90 second video. It undoubtedly , regardless of my title , doesn't mean that Google won't dump out a penalty to someone who evidently buys links . But "typically" this is how Google manages it , they simply halt those paid links from assisting you , which can often feel like apenalty .

Google: Don't Wait For Your Punishment To Expire

John Mueller powerfully urged that those who strike with a manual penalty should not wait for the penalty to expire. Rather, they should work to settle why they have been punished in the first spot and then submit an afterthought request.

This recommendation drives from the Google Webmaster Help thread that had the same subject of directories appointing link abolish fees. 

Various people know, manual punishments expire over a certain period of time. So do nothing and wait might seem like an alternative but is it? 

1. Perhaps, it takes six or more months for the punishment to expire. So expecting six months is frequently not an option for most online business.


2. After the punishment expires, it doesn’t mean you won’t be punished again. This site sells links and that is a manual penalty. The sanction expires every now and then and soon after the site is penalized again. Don't do what I did.

If your site receives a notification of web-spam or manual action in Webmaster Tools, then that will be due to a web-spam review and manual action that has been taken. While manual actions will expire at some point, I would strongly not recommend sweeping them under the carpet and hoping that they go away on their own -- at least if you're interested in having your site be optimally represented in our search outcomes. Even when a manual action expires (which might take quite some time), if the reason for the original manual action is still relevant, it's always possible that the manual action is returned later on. In my opinion, if you're aware of issues that are negatively affecting your site's performance in search, and if its performance there is crucial to you, then resolving those issues is often a good use of time.
